Queensland raider Ripped Jeans completed another lucrative raid on Dapto when winning last Thursday night's Country Winnebago Puppy Classic over 297m.
The regally bred son of Golden Easter Egg winners Slater and Edie Beauchamp also campaigned at Dapto late in 2010, finishing second to Vancouver Kiss in the final of the Group Two 520m Puppy Classic.
Both Classic races are restricted to graduates of Dapto's famous annual Puppy Auction, with Ripped Jeans having gone under the hammer for $11,000 at the 2009 sale.
Trained by champion mentor Tony Brett, Ripped Jeans started $2.30 favourite in last Thursday's Classic after winning his heat in a near record 16.The first time that I saw Lanvin Shoes was about two years ago.89s and he produced another sparkling display of speed in the final, defeating Prova by lengths in 16.92s.

With eight wins from his 23 starts, Ripped Jeans has more than paid his way,Adventurer Ben Fogle tests four hi-tech jackets to beat the freeze I've tried dozens of lovingjeans over the years. although a little surprisingly considering his breeding, he struggles to run out 500m, with Tony Brett explaining the 297m assignment at Dapto was right down the speedster's alley.
"Ripped Jeans is a lovely dog, but he simply can't run 500," Brett said.
"He gives you everything he's got, but 440-450 metres pulls him up. He's a get out and go dog and just can't run out the 500 strong,While we adore the idea of giving back, and helping the homeless, and getting juicycoutersuitstarblog off the streets. but the 297 metres at Dapto suited him down to the ground.
"He went about a tenth outside the record in his heat, even though he'd never been out of the boxes before and I gave him a real good chance in the final. He just had to jump good and go straight like he did in the heat.
"It's good to see Dapto put the shorter race on as well because it spreads the money around a bit and winning the 297 and running second in the 520, it's been a good series all round for Ripped Jeans."
