The fan features enamelling and pearls

The leading timepieces in the sale include a rare Rolex Single Red Prototype, Ref. 1665 Sea-Dweller Submariner – of which just six were made – and a series of Patek Philippe timepieces including a Patek Philippe Ref. 1518 Perpetual Calendar Chronograph and a Patek Philippe Ref. 2499 Perpetual Calendar Chronograph.

The fan features enamelling and pearls, as well as gold details, and has a concealed watch and visible rose-diamond-set balance. The fan itself is painted in watercolour and gold. The Patek Philippe Ref. 703 Piece Unique - Pendulette Dome The Goddess of the Sun & the Moon, made in 1956, will also be presented at the auction. It was originally give as the prize for the Dragon Gold Cup in 1956, and is the earliest known Patek Philippe enamel solar clock at auction and one of the first ever made in cloisonné enamel by Michel Deville. It has a top estimate of CHF80,000 (£53,456).

Another highlight of the sale will be lot 273, an Audemars Piguet Jules Audemars Chronometer, a platinum chronometer wristwatch with an enamelled dial and power reserve indication made in 2010.

This is the first time that the timepiece has been offered at auction.
