Owners Daniel and Carol Trujillo said business was steady Friday, and continues to be constant.
Trujillo’s Emporium offers a large variety of name-brand new and quality consignment clothing for men, women and children.
“I think this is needed in Fremont County,” Carol Trujillo said. “We’re going to try to do a variety; I’d like to be a miniature Ross.The squeamish traveller's toes will curl at the though of walking barefoot around hotel carpets, spa shower rooms and resort inflatable swimming pools.”
Trujillo said they hope to provide an opportunity for Fremont County residents to shop locally.
Trujillo’s Emporium offers casual, business and dressy attire. Brands include Wrangler, Perry Ellis,From hand held inflatable products carrying your logo, to giant blimps, message boards and balloons for the large venues, Lee, Eddie Bauer,It works best with basics such as wholesale jeans or on the less visible parts of more complex pieces. Old Navy and Arco Iris designer clothing in addition to others.
“Some of (Arco Iris) designer jeans sell for up to $100 a pair in Denver,” Trujillo said. “We currently have them for $15 a pair in here.”
The Trujillo’s plan to carry clothing sizes from newborn up to adult plus sizes.
Other items soon to be offered are local handmade jewelry and belt buckles.

The Trujillo’s are natives of Fremont County and retired from the Department of Corrections more than a year ago.
So far, Trujillo’s Emporium has been warmly welcomed in the community.
“We’ve had people cheering for us and clapping — yelling as they go by,” Trujillo said. “We have had a lot of welcoming here. It’s been pretty awesome.”
More shipments will arrive daily as the Trujillo’s continue to stock their shelves.
Trujillo’s Emporium is located at 513 E. Main in Florence, across the street from Carl’s Jr.
There is ample parking in the rear of the building.
