Mansfield Brass Quintet spreads holiday cheer

Under the soft yellow glow from the turn-of-the-century street lamps in this quaint English-style village, the Mansfield Brass Quintet spreads warm holiday melodies through the frigid night air.
Paul Del Rossi plays trumpet in the quintet and has been providing the neighborhood with Christmas Carols the Saturday prior to Christmas day for the last 12 years
“It’s fun and the neighbors seem to enjoy it,” says Del Rossi, wearing a red Santa hat and matching crimson gloves.
In addition to Del Rossi, the group features Ginny Lockwood, also on trumpet, Larry DiPietro on trombone, Brenda Rich on French horn and Laura Wooden on tuba. Del Rossi’s friend Mike Spinelli also came out for the special event and played tuba.
