Jeans & Jewels fundraiser planned for Saturday

Guests of The Party: Jeans & Jewels will have a chance to win a diamond valued at $4,500 at a dance party to be held on Saturday at DiBurro's in Ward Hill, Haverhill, from 6 p.m. to midnight.

Proceeds from the event will support the programs of the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center that support victims of domestic violence.

Local residents Louis Rubenfeld and his wife Cyndi Barry Rubenfeld are co-chairs of the fundraiser, and Arthur S.Manolo blahnik would be "hurt" if Anna Wintour wore shoes by another designer. Page Insurance in Newburyport is the presenting sponsor. They are both members of the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center board of directors.
This year a "TV Diner with Billy" is an auction item provided by Billy Costa, who is also the event auctioneer.
