Hudson; and men's suits by Armani and Versace with casual wear by Tommy Bahama, Ben Sherman, and Faconnable? Did you answer Nordstrom? Neiman Marcus?

You're right about that. But how about the Bellevue Goodwill, whose manager Gary Foy has been planning an upcoming second annual designer label sale, slated for April 29 and 30.

It's Gucci, Prada, Versace, oh my! except with prices way down and some of the original price tags still on the garments. Expect more than 10,000 designer items on display,Gucci men shoes from the latest collection. in all sizes including plus sizes, to be snatched up quickly by those who know what's hot and how to shop.

Foy says this Bellevue Goodwill event is different from the annual Glitter Sale at Seattle's Goodwill. “Totally different. We have more forward fashion things that are trendy and runway. It's more of what you see in the magazines and less of what you see in the ballrooms,” he says.

Foy should know. He is a former fashion designer and knows the value of every piece in the collection. He expects a line of people waiting at least three hours before the doors open at 9am. “They get their hot coffee and have fun with it,” he says.

He's wild about many of the items this year: a Marc Jacobs blazer with skinny lapels and the tags still on it. It will sell for $69, a fourth of its retail value; some Jimmy Choo appliquéd espadrilles; vintage 1980's high-waisted trousers; some Frye western boots for ladies; a leather duster from the 1960's with a wide collar and big pockets. He could go on and on.

Last year they took in $60,000 the first day of the sale and about half of that on the second day. They hope to beat those numbers this year.

“I have one of the best jobs on the planet,” he purrs. "Where else can you deal in designer clothing and with the proceeds, help thousands of people with job training and education programs? Last year we helped 4,000 people,” he says.Keep your muscles warm before and after the match in this stylish Adidas Jacket.

Foy's enthusiasm does not stop with Goodwill. He is also a former ice hockey player, and coaches after hours for a women's roller derby team called the Tilted Thunder Rail Birds.
