Safety comes first in Baldwinsville

The head of the Baldwinsville School District is assuring parents tonight that student safety comes first after students were sent outside into the biting cold, some wearing only tee shirts and shorts, due to a fire alarm.

She said intense heat was being reported in a duct, leaving the district with no choice but to evacuate, telling students to leave the building, without a chance for some to grab a coat.
